What is Autonomic Response Testing?

Autonomic Response Testing (ART) evaluates which stressors are interfering with proper function of the autonomic nervous system. These stressors could come from your external environment such as infectious agents, environmental toxins, or food allergies. They might also arise internally and manifest as glandular/hormonal imbalances, brain/neurotransmitter imbalances and old injuries with broken-down cellular communication.

Autonomic Response Testing is a non-invasive way of analyzing your body to find the underlying root causes of your health problems.

We use Autonomic Response Testing to look at how well each organ, gland, or set of tissues is functioning. This is done by testing your neurological reflexes to see if anything is blocking the autonomic nervous system from being able to self-regulate. The 7 most common reasons for blocks include:

  • undiagnosed food allergies

  • heavy metal toxicity

  • chemical toxicity

  • chronic unresolved infections

  • scars

  • temporal-mandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction

  • unresolved psycho-emotional stress

  • electromagnetic stress

Not only does this method allow us to identify exactly what your body needs, it enables us to offer a customized protocol to help resolve your issues.
